Score 93/100 · Drink 2005-2012, Robert Parker, Aug 2005

The dark ruby/garnet-tinged 2003 Pinot Noir Rancho Santa Rosa exhibits complex, sweet, meaty aromas of plums, cherries, pomegranates, and a touch of wood (no more than 25% new wood is utilized) as well as deep, sweet, spicy, dense, well-delineated, provocative flavors. This beauty is a dead-ringer for a Cote de Nuits from northern Burgundy. I would opt for drinking it over the next 5-7 years. Tel. (805) 452-5609
