Amber-hued red. Red currant, dried cherry, succulent herbs and pungent flowers on the nose. Taut red fruit and rose pastille flavors are sharpened by a spicy white pepper note. In a graceful style, and ready to drink, showing very good clarity and spicy thrust on the long, gently tannic finish.

Pale to medium ruby-purple in color, the 2014 Monopole Pinot Noir offers notes of red currant jelly, dried mulberries and kirsch with touches of dusty earth and dried herbs. Medium-bodied, fine-boned and elegantly played in the mouth, it has a pretty quiet intensity and herbal lift on the finish.
