Score 92/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, May 2011
Bright yellow-gold. Enticing aromas of orange peel, lemon drop and iodine. Lovely savory, high-pitched wine; rich but weightless, with flavors of crystallized citrus peel, spices and minerals, plus a whiff of creme brulee. Hudson is normally lower in acidity than the more minerally, nervy, acid-driven Hyde, notes winemaker James Hall.
