(from vines averaging about 35 years old, roughly the same age as those in Macharelles) Oaky aromas of vineyard peach, apricot, honey, vanilla and marzipan; less minerally and citric than the Macharelles. Fat, full and spicy, but a bit blowzy with alcohol and lacking in cut and brightness. Finishes with a faint oaky dryness.
