Tasting notes
A very floral wine with rose petal and lilacs that open to a full body, yet it\'s compacted and tight. There\'s harmony and beauty here. Long finish.

The 2013 Vosne Romanée les Malconsorts 1er Cru has a sorbet-like freshness on the nose that unfolds with intent in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent tannin, quite sappy in the mouth with a poised and sustained finish. Apparently, this is one of Mounir’s most mercurial wines in barrel, even so on this showing it is packed full of potential.
Healthy medium red. A liqueur-like essence of dark fruits on the nose. Dense and electric, displaying great verve to its flavors of purple fruits, brown spices and soil-driven salinity. Very intensely flavored, complex wine with terrific sappy persistence. Conveys a powerful impression of terroir .
