Score 17.5/20 · Drink 2019-2029, Richard Hemming MW, jancisrobinson.com, Jan 2016
Relatively restrained and understated on the nose. Smoke and slate on the palate with a floral quality just emerging. This requires some attention to recognise its nuances, but there is plenty going on under the surface – it just needs some bottle age to emerge properly. Reassuringly concentrated fruit on the finish. (RH)
