2014 Sandhi Chardonnay Mt. Carmel

The 2014 Chardonnay Mt. Carmel is one of the more powerful wines in the Sandhi range. This exposed, windswept hillside site in the Sta. Rita Hills often yields intensely phenolic, structured wines. That is exactly what comes through here. Orange blossom, lemon peel, white flowers, apricot, mint and chamomile burst forward. There is plenty to like here, that is for sure.
