Score 87-89/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Mar 2006

(this wine was previously labeled Charmes-Chambertin) Good bright, full red. Musky redcurrant, plum and minerals on the nose. Moderately dense and thick, with better stuffing than a few of the foregoing samples. Finishes a bit dusty, with acids and tannins not yet in harmony.

Very thick and sweet and rich. Slightly oxidized sample. Lots of matière. Could do with more lift and zest. (JR)
