The 2020 Juffer Sonnenuhr "Im Falkenberg" GG is very clear, deep and intense on the nose that is utterly complex but also refined and elegant. In a blind tasting, I would have guessed this is a Molitor due to the combination of clarity, intensity, ripeness and reduction. On the palate, this is a crystalline, pure and refined yet intense and juicy, very powerful and tensioned JSU with a long and intense finish. Fabulous. Tasted in Wiesbaden in August 2021.

The Im Falkenberg leads you on with a seductive fragrance of almost exotic fruit and even a hint of elderflower blossom before it reveals its more serious mineral side on the palate. At the same time there is still enough fruit, peach and grapefruit leading the line, including piquant notes of pith and peel. Very compact for now, with plenty of extract. (MS)
Great classical elegance here! Very concentrated, yet still such a sleek silhouette, the flavors very precise and finely etched. Enormous mineral energy. Tastes like essence of slate! Drink or hold.
