Tasting notes
All Cabernet Franc from the estate vineyard on Mount Veeder, the 2021 Agnes Sorel was made without any sulfur additions and aged in a combination of amphora (one-third) and oak (two-thirds). Marked by distinctive floral elements of violets and roses, it also boasts cherry-berry fruit. In the mouth, it's medium to full-bodied and slightly angular, but it finishes with ample length and silky tannins. This vintage, Agnes Sorel is more about her gorgeous scent than her touch.

Cabernet Franc. Deep purple in colour. Orange blossom and macerated blackberry on the nose – lifted and fresh. Mineral rockiness on the palate with firm tannin and fresh acidity. (SCJ)
This pure and unadulterated wine has no sulfites added and is made from organically grown grapes. A lightly earthy, herbal aroma leads to deep, potent black fruit, char and graphite flavors on a tannic structure. Best from 2027.
The 2021 Agnes Sorel, 100% Cabernet Franc, is a wild, potent wine from Aaron Pott's Mount Veeder property. Bold, pungent Franc character is front and center. The 2021 was bottled with no SO2, which further lends an exotic character. I liked this more from barrel, but the overall quality is undeniable. (AG)
