From a half-acre parcel planted to Clone 4 at the top of Tychson Hill, Pott has produced 24 cases (one barrel) of the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Turf War Bisagno Vineyard. Showing remarkable purity of red cherries on the nose—there's just a hint of menthol and baking spices—this medium to full-bodied wine is creamy textured, ripe and supple on the palate, with a long, lingering finish.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Turf War is elegant, polished and super-expressive. Silky tannins, bright red fruit and lifted floral accents grace this open-knit, alluring Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2019 is quite attractive. Best of all, it should drink well with minimal cellaring.
Coming from a tiny half-acre vineyard near Tychson Hill, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Turf War (100% Cabernet Sauvignon) boasts a complex, incredibly perfumed bouquet of ripe red fruits, cassis, spring flowers, and chocolate. These all carry to a medium to full-bodied, elegant Cabernet with great tannins, a juicy, elegant style (it's not massive, by any means), no hard edges, and a great finish. It's beautifully done.
The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Turf War is a very pretty, perfumed wine. For the second consecutive year, it is also a bit lighter than the other wines in this range. There is lovely purity to the red-toned fruit, floral and spice flavors. It will be interesting to see if a bit more body develops during aging.
