Tasting notes
Pott's 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Turf War is powerful, structured and tannic. The 2014 needs time to come together, as it is a bit compact today. There is plenty of ripeness and raciness, but the mid-palate feels a bit attenuated today. It will be interesting to see if more depth develops in bottle.

The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Turf War comes from the Bisagno Vineyard in St. Helena. Intense, rich, full-bodied, slightly more structured and tannic than the Nouveau Western, this exhibits good cedary, licorice-infused blackcurrant fruit, background oak and a touch of graphite in its medium to full-bodied, moderately tannic style. Give it another 1-2 years of cellaring and drink it over the following 15.
