(100% serine and no destemming): Bright violet color. Pungent, mineral-tinged dark berry aromas, with smoke and black cardamom nuances adding complexity. Sappy and penetrating on the palate, offering energetic black and blue fruit flavors and a sweet touch of cola. Closes on a peppery note, with slow-building florality and smooth, harmonious tannins. The fruit for this year's bottling was grown entirely in Le Plomb, in the Cote Brune.
