2009 Oakville East Wine Company Cabernet Sauvignon Exposure

Glass-staining ruby. Blueberry, licorice, lavender and pipe tobacco on the highly perfumed nose. Broad and sweet on entry, then more taut in the mid-palate, with impressively deep dark fruit and floral pastille flavors. Bright and nicely delineated but concentrated as well. Finishes with velvety, building tannins and lingering smokiness. For such a rich, deeply flavored wine there's real energy here.
