Score 88/100 · Josh Raynolds, Dec 2014

(made from fruit grown in the John Sebastiano and Solomon Hills vineyards; 20% new oak): Bright ruby-red. Dark berry preserves, licorice and mocha on the fragrant nose.  Supple and open-knit, offering plump black and blue fruit flavors and an energizing note of black pepper.  Finishes smooth and slightly warm, leaving jammy blackberry and boysenberry notes behind.
