Tasting notes
Dark, shimmering red. Expansive, spice-accented red berry preserve scents pick up incense and lavender flourishes with air. Juicy and energetic on the palate, offering densely packed raspberry, cherry liqueur and exotic spice flavors that show fine delineation and back-end lift. Finishes impressively long and precise, with resonating red fruit and floral notes and well-knit tannins that make a late appearance.

The 2019 Pinot Noir Bednarik Vineyard comes from organically grown, own-rooted vines in marine sedimentary soils planted in 1988. It has nuanced, autumnal aromas of woodsmoke and fragrant earth with notes of licorice, cracked pepper and garrigue. The palate is silky and inviting, with swirls of spicy berry fruit and a long, pure finish. This embodies the weightlessness and transparency of the best 2019 Pinot Noirs in the Willamette Valley.
Aromas of cherries, raspberries, plum stones and baking spices. Medium-bodied with plush tannins and bright acidity. Mineral and juicy with plenty of fruit on the palate. Flavorful finish with excellent length. Drink now or hold.
