Score 90/100 · Drink 2022-2028, Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate, May 2022
The 2019 Pinot Noir North Canyon Vineyard comes from Dijon clones in the Santa Maria Valley. Bold cherry fruit leads the way, but there's not much complexity beyond that. Still, there's a lovely silky mouthfeel, a medium to full-bodied palate and a hint of beet greens on the finish.

The 2019 Pinot Noir North Canyon Vineyard is a powerful, wild wine endowed with quite a bit of complexity and savory energy. This deep, flavorful Pinot is full of rugged intensity and pure power. from the outset. Dark red fruit, rose petal, white pepper and orange peel linger on a driving finish lifted by bright floral and savory accents that add compelling inner sweetness.
