Tasting notes
The 2008 Cabernet Franc is an attractive, mid-weight wine. Red berries, sweet herbs, flowers and mint are some of the notes that take shape in the glass in this somewhat delicate, fleeting wine. This is a medium-bodied, gracious style, but frankly I expected a little more richness and varietal expression.

This is a medium-bodied, gracious style, but frankly I expected a little more richness and varietal expression. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2018. This is a top-notch set of wines from Wolf Family Vineyards and winemaker Karen Culler. All of the wines are made from estate-grown fruit. Available through Polaner Selections, Mt. Kisco, NY; tel.
