Tasting notes
Moving to the reds, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Kaley Elizabeth is a beautiful, elegant, complex 2015 that has loads of classy cassis fruits, tobacco, graphite, plenty of gravelly minerality, and Cabernet Franc-like floral hints. Medium to full-bodied, seamless, and elegant, with beautiful tannin quality, it’s a vibrant 2015 that has both richness and freshness as well as first-rate complexity.

The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Kaley Elizabeth is made from the Tierra Rojo vineyard in Oakville planted in 1988 and contains a splash of Cabernet Franc. Deep garnet-purple colored, it has a beautiful nose of red roses and violets over a core of warm blackcurrants, blueberry pie and Indian spices with touches of cigar box and tilled soil. Full-bodied and already sporting wonderful harmony, the palate is laden with pure, expressive black and blue fruits and loads of spicy accents, framed by velvety tannins and great freshness, finishing very long. 280 cases were made.
