The 2018 Chardonnay Tenth Stop is a brilliant, effusive wine. Soaring floral notes meld into lemon confit, dried almond, chamomile and spice. There is a feeling of translucence to the Tenth Stop that is hugely appealing.

The 2018 Chardonnay Tenth Stop opens with very pretty floral perfume with touches of lemon cream over a core of fresh quince fruit. The palate is light-bodied, fresh and juicy with crunchy fruit character and a mineral-driven finish. An uplifted expression this vintage. 195 cases produced.

The 2018 Chardonnay Tenth Stop comes all from the Dutton Palms Vineyard and spent 14 months in between 25% to 40% new French oak. Its medium gold color is followed by a rocking bouquet of spiced pears, white peach, baking spices, and honeyed toast. This beauty is rich, medium to full-bodied, has bright acidity, and a great finish, all making for a riveting Sonoma Coast Chardonnay. Give bottles another year and enjoy through 2028.
