The 2010 Nuits St. Georges Les Dam odes emerges from the glass with layers of rich, sumptuous fruit. This is an especially silky, round Dam odes. I especially like the way the wine blossoms on the palate with an intricate fabric of expressive fruit. Today I sense the wine is holding back much of its potential.

The 2010 Nuits St. Georges Les Damodes emerges from the glass with layers of rich, sumptuous fruit. This is an especially silky, round Damodes. I especially like the way the wine blossoms on the palate with an intricate fabric of expressive fruit. Today I sense the wine is holding back much of its potential. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2022. Once again I tasted with the entire team at Remoissenet, including President Pierre Rovani, General Manager Bernard Repolt, Winemaker Claudie Jobard and Vineyard Manager Fred Le Prince. Remoissenet continues to ratchet up the quality of their reds. Given the house’s preference for texturally rich wines, the cool 2010 vintage provided attractive balancing elements here.
