Tasting notes
Incorporating 16% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2021 Cabernet Franc Blueline Estate is the smallest production red from this team, and it was aged 18 months in French oak. It's an incredibly floral, elegant Cabernet Franc with ripe red and blue fruits, medium to full body, a seamless, elegant mouthfeel, and complex, classic Franc notes of spring flowers, sappy underbrush, and bay leaf. It's beautiful today but will benefit from 3-4 years in the cellar, and I suspect it will have a solid two decades of longevity.

The 2021 Cabernet Franc Blueline Estate is powerful, deep and super-expressive. Varietal Franc notes are amplified in this dark, brooding wine. Thirty year-old vines confer notable gravitas and sheer power. Dark fruit, leather, mocha and spice build as this ample Franc shows off its personality. The 2021 turned out beautifully.
The 2021 Cabernet Franc Blueline is a new wine in this range. Aromatic and nervy, the 2021 possesses terrific verve in the slightly nervous style that is a signature of the vintage here. I especially like the savory energy in the 2021.
