Score 91/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, May 2014

Vivid ruby-red. Intense aromas of raspberry compote, potpourri, sandalwood and minerals, with an exotic blood orange nuance adding complexity. Stains the palate with vibrant red and dark berry flavors and picks up cola and mocha qualities and a touch of licorice. Shows a suave floral pastille nuance on a clinging finish framed by youthfully chewy tannins. Still very young but aeration helps open it up quite a bit.
