Tasting notes
Almost as good as the Rosella's Vineyard, the 2013 Syrah Garys' Vineyard is slightly more straightforward, yet still has beautiful complexity in its black raspberry, bacon fat, spice, and subtle olive-laced aromas and flavors. It too is full-bodied, voluptuous, and sexy with sweet tannin, a great mid-palate and a big finish. This is another sensational Syrah from this team that will drink well for another decade.

Opaque purple. Dark berry liqueur, violet pastille, cola and olive paste on the highly perfumed nose. Extremely fresh and supple in texture, offering sweet black and blue fruit flavors and a sexy floral quality on the back half. This rich, lively, suave Syrah finishes with excellent clarity and length and fully integrated tannins that fade into the wine's lush fruit. Pretty delicious already.
