Score 96/100 · Drink 2024-2039, Jeb Dunnuck, May 2021

Coming all from the newly planted WeatherEye Vineyard, the 2019 Cabernet Franc reveals a dense ruby/plum he as well as an impressive bouquet of red, blue, and black fruits intermixed with spring flowers, camphor, scorched earth, and damp earth and forest floor nuances. The real deal, it’s medium to full-bodied and has a seamless mouthfeel, gorgeous tannins, and a great finish. The texture is spot on, and it has a great mid-palate, all pointing to a brilliant Cabernet Franc that’s going to benefit from 3-4 years of bottle age and keep for 10-15. Bravo!
