Tasting notes
Pale to medium ruby-purple in color, the 2015 Pinot Noir Santa Lucia Highlands gives lovely floral, red roses and violets notes over a core of red currants and cherries plus a touch of chocolate. Medium-bodied, the palate gives a good concentration of perfumed red berry flavors with a lovely softness and herbal lift to the finish.

The appellation release is the 2015 Pinot Noir Santa Lucia Highlands and it saw 11 months in 56% new French oak. Its deeper raspberry color is followed by a juicy, fresh, lively Pinot Noir that shows the vintages freshness and elegance. Framboise, spring flowers, spice and hints of earth give way to a medium-bodied, lightly textured, balanced effort that's ideal for drinking over the coming 4-6 years.
(45% new French oak) Deep red. Smoke-tinged red berries and cherry cola on the perfumed nose. Pliant and seamless in the mouth, offering sappy raspberry and bitter cherry flavors complemented by vanilla and allspice flourishes. Silky and open-knit, offering an appealing interplay of richness and vivacity. Smooth tannins frame the nicely persistent finish, which leaves sweet mocha and cherry preserve notes behind.
