Score 95/100 · Drink 2021-2031, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, May 2019

The 2016 Pinot Noir High Plains is absolutely gorgeous also quite differentiated from the other wines in the range. Specifically, the High Plains has a feeling of tension and energy that is incredibly distinct. Rose petal, chalk, mint, lavender and red-toned berries are all beautifully delineated in this bracing, beautifully delineated Pinot Noir. A dollop (15%) of whole clusters adds brightness.
