This Sonoma Coast Site has produced a terrific 2015 Pinot Noir Gap's Crown Vineyard. Mostly destemmed, it has a savory, mineral-laced style as well as notes of ripe black cherries, cranberries, smoke, and crushed rocks. With medium-bodied richness, good acidity, and fine, yet present tannin, it will keep for a decade or more. These Gary Farrell releases are made by Theresa Heredia. They’re classic, well-made wines across the board.

The 2015 Pinot Noir Gap's Crown Vineyard is pale to medium ruby-purple in color and scented of red currant jelly, strawberry preserves and raspberry tart with notions of baking spices, wilted roses and tilled soil. Medium-bodied with a good amount of red berry and earthy flavors on offer, it has a chewy texture and mineral-laced finish. 494 cases produced.
