The 2019 Zinfandel Heminway Vineyard offers lovely top notes of floral perfume on the nose, with spicy red and black berries and a pure waft of aniseed. The palate is medium-bodied, soft, fresh and juicy with a long, floral-laced finish. It hints at more to come and will benefit from another year or two in bottle. 520 cases produced.
The 2019 Zinfandel Heminway is laced with the essence of blue/purplish fruit, spice, lavender, licorice and menthol. Deceptive in its mid-weight style, the 2019 possesses striking depth and intensity, with tons of structure to back it all up. This is a decidedly powerful mountain Zinfandel loaded with savory and mineral nuance to play off a core of rich Zinfandel fruit.
