Score 90/100 · Drink 2019-2025, Jeb Dunnuck, Oct 2019
Last of the whites, the 2016 The Ten Wings checks in as 60% Roussanne, 15% Chardonnay, 18% Viognier, and 7% Marsanne that saw a full 27 months in neutral barrels and stainless steel. Medium gold-colored with notes of toasted bread, caramelized lemon, honeyed minerality, and spice, it hits the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, bright acidity, and a clean, nicely textured finish. It doesn't have the balance of the other two whites, but it has plenty of texture, solid complexity, and is going to shine on the dinner table. Drink it over the coming 4-6 years.
