60% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay, 10% red wine. Base 2020. Dosage 3.5 g/l. Disgorged October 2022. Strawberries-on-hay aroma. Pretty! Fruity and friendly with a touch of blood orange. Not the most complex but it has nice chewiness. And it's juicy and crisp enough to be thirst-quenching. (TC)

Lamiable’s faintly onion skin-tinted and initially pungently yeast-shrouded NV Brut Rose features a tangy alliance of fresh, candied and distilled red raspberry, its sustained finish a tad extraneously sweet but invigorating in its combination of berry seed-crunch and prickly, sourdough yeastiness. I would certainly drink this young. Jean-Pierre and daughter Ophelie Lamiable bottle at least half a dozen cuvees, of which I sampled only three, not including a current rendition of the site-specific Blanc de Noirs Les Meslaines for which they are perhaps best-known.
