Tasting notes
Bright medium ruby-red. Deeper aromas of currant, mocha and roast coffee. Suave on entry, then a bit tight and bound-up in the middle palate, with a slightly aggressive quality to the wild flavors of dark currant, smoked meat, menthol and fresh herbs. Stronger on the finish than the d'Adamo and in need of a few years in the cellar.

There are just under 1,000 cases of the impressive 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Buckeye Vineyard. Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, it offers up abundant aromas of white chocolate, espresso roast, black currants, cherries, and wet rocks. Dark ruby/purple colored, deep, and full-bodied, it is clearly a mountain-styled, impressively built, muscular Cabernet that needs 3-4 years of cellaring. It should last for 20-25 years. Tel.
