(70% cabernet sauvignon, 20% cabernet franc and 10% petit verdot): Bright, medium ruby-red. Complex and inviting nose offers black plum, blueberry and mocha complicated by hints of leather and smoke and sexy soil tones. A suave, sweet, fine-grained midweight with lovely inner-mouth energy and lift. Dark fruit and mineral flavors are nicely framed by harmonious acidity. Finishes broad and smooth, with suave, even tannins and excellent length. The finest release yet from this producer.
