Score 94/100 · Drink 2014-2029, Robert Parker, Oct 2014
The single-vineyard 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Wight is opaque purple, has similar aromatic and flavor characteristics to the regular Cabernet Sauvignon, just with more concentration and extract. The tannins may also be more elevated, but there is such an extravagant level of fruit, they’re not that noticeable. This is a beautiful wine that cascades over the palate, with a multidimensional personality, with background sweet oak and loads of blackberry and cassis fruit, licorice and camphor. Drink it over the next 12-15 years.
