Tasting notes
Medium ruby, the 2018 Pinot Noir Evenstad Reserve has very deep scents of red cherry and blueberry preserves, aniseed, blood orange and dark spices. The medium-bodied palate is silky and refreshing with fragrant fruit and a long, spicy finish.

Compact nose. Dry, bitter fruit. No complexity. Austere. Not my style I'm afraid. (RH)
Glistening ruby. Expansive, oak-accented cherry and dark berry aromas hint at vanilla, espresso and licorice. In a weighty style, but surprisingly energetic as well, offering sweet cherry cola, mocha and vanilla flavors that turn spicier on the back half. This is showing a lot of oak influence right now, but there appears to be ample fruit to back it up. Finishes long and smoky, with a reverberating dark berry note and strong tenacity.
A ripe, spicy and glossy nose with biscuity aromas, as well as very vivid red and dark-cherry notes. The palate has a very plush and elegant feel with silky tannins that unfurl with rich, spiced red-fruit flavors. Holds fresh and precise. Drink or hold.
