Score 95/100 · Drink 2016-2023, Robert Parker, Mar 2016

The 2013 Pinot Noir Santa Rita Hills is made from Clones 777, 115 and 667. This is a spicy, earthy Pinot Noir with notes of pomegranate, raspberry jam, loamy soil and sassafras. It is medium to full-bodied and completely different than the North Coast Pinots. Nevertheless, it is complex, but more Côtes de Beaune in orientation than his other offerings. Drink it over the next 5-7 years.
