Sweeter and richer than the Vosne villages, which is from younger vines. (These vines, planted in very poor soil adjacent to Meo's holding in Vosne-Romanee Chaumes, yield very small grapes; the yield here was barely 20 hectoliters per hectare, according to Christian Faurois): Shows the finer tannins of so many Nuits examples from this vintage.
