Score 91/100 · Robert Parker, Aug 2009

The 2007 Viognier Denner Vineyard is about as top-flight as California Viognier can be. It possesses bracing acidity, superb underlying minerality, and plenty of honeysuckle, white peach, and tropical fruit characteristics in its medium to full-bodied, well-delineated personality. Enjoy this beauty over the next several years. These are four beautiful wines produced from the limestone hillsides of this vineyard just off Vineyard Drive on the west side of Paso Robles. The two whites are both striking examples of what can be achieved with Rhone Valley varietals in California’s Central Coast. Tel. (805) 239-4287; Fax (805) 239-0154
