2014 Château Simone Palette

Light bright orange. A heady, mineral-tinged bouquet evokes dried red berries, orange pith, lavender and fresh bay, along with a hint of peach pit in the background. Silky, seamless and broad on entry and then more taut in the midpalate, offering juicy cherry and blood orange flavors and a hint of tarragon. Shows an intriguing blend of red and white wine qualities and finishes extremely long and sappy, leaving behind sexy floral, mineral and red berry notes.
