The bottle of 2019 Les Bruyères Chardonnay has a smoky reduction that, to me, is very Jura, tasty, mineral and super expressive, serious, as the Trias soils always seem to give a spicy twist to the wine and a classical bitter twist in the finish. 2019 was a good year for the clay soils, and the wine is evolving nicely, as expected. It's not a shy wine at 14.5% alcohol.
