Here's a balanced and cheerful red wine to pair with roast pork or lean cuts of beef. The 2013 Roero Riserva Bric Paradiso offers heightened intensity and purity. You get a good sense of that pure Nebbiolo personality. Wild berry and cherry are followed by spice, tar and licorice. I love the intensity and the freshness of this easy-drinking red. Some 4,500 bottles were produced.
