Tasting notes
Bright ruby-red. Musky aromas of cassis, black plum, black raspberry, graphite and woodsmoke, plus a suggestion of chocolatey ripeness. Suave and fine-grained, showing more inner-mouth energy and shape than the Mystique blend. A bit darker and tighter, with a complicating herbal character, this wine finishes with lovely purity, persistence and grip. Lovely dark fruit intensity here--and plenty of ripe tannic support.

The base 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is another deep purple/ruby colored red from Scott that has considerable elegance in its creme de cassis, lead pencil, toasted bread and black raspberry scented bouquet. Medium to full-bodied, silky and polished on the palate, with terrific purity, it's another gem to drink over the coming decade.
