There’s a ripe herb/herbal edge in the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Tournahu Vineyard, which comes from a vineyard on the valley floor located on an old riverbed. Lots of black fruits, salted meats, and cured black olives define the bouquet, and it’s full-bodied, concentrated, and structured on the palate. It’s a serious wine that will benefit from 2-4 years of bottle age and keep for 15-20.

The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Tournahu Vineyard shows just how alluring wines from this sector of St. Helena can be. Lush and inviting, the 2017 will drink well pretty much upon release because of its tremendous immediacy. Super-ripe black cherry, chocolate, spice, menthol and licorice build into the racy finish as this heady, exotically ripe Cabernet shows off everything it's got.
