Score 89/100 · Drink 2016-2023, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Jul 2016

The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon is bold, rich and juicy, with plenty of up-front fruit. This is an especially forward, succulent style for the year. As such, the 2013 will drink well with minimal cellaring. This is a decidedly forward, sweet style, but it works nicely.

A beautiful 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon McGah Family Vineyard from Rutherford. The wine has a dense ruby/purple color, a beautiful sweet kiss of blackberry and cassis, well-hidden oak, low acidity, terrific fruit purity and a long finish. This is stunning, sexy wine to drink over the next 10-20+ years.
