Score 95/100 · Drink 2018-2028, Jeb Dunnuck, Oct 2018

From a higher elevation site in the Sta. Rita Hills, aged in 50% new oak, the 2016 Pinot Noir Rita's Crown is another deep, rich, concentrated wine from this estate. Blackberries, toasted spices, dried flowers, and dried earth notes all flow to a medium to full-bodied, beautifully textured and seamless Pinot Noir that's the most complete and balanced in the lineup. It's a fabulous wine.
