Tasting notes
Deep, bright-hued red. Highly perfumed aromas of ripe red berries, candied flowers, vanilla and baking spices are accompanied by hints of musky earth and cola. Shows excellent clarity and spicy lift on the palate, offering pliant red fruit preserve, cherry-cola and spicecake flavors that show a refreshingly bitter edge. Smooth, sweet and expansive on the impressively persistent finish, which echoes the berry and floral notes. (40% whole clusters and 52.6% new French oak)

Pale to medium ruby-purple, the 2016 Pinot Noir Archer's Edge Vineyard has an herbal nose with aromas of eucalyptus leaf and sage over a core of black fruit with underbrush accents. Medium-bodied and silky, it opens more in the mouth to notions of black cherries, blueberries and bramble berry preserves with accents of menthol, potpourri and tilled black earth. It has slightly chewy tannins and appealing lip-smacking acidity, finishing long with sweet fruit.
