2013 Failla Pinot Noir Savoy Vineyard

The 2013 Pinot Noir Savoy Vineyard, from a site in Anderson Valley, is quite different in style from Failla's Sonoma Coast Pinots, most notable in its prominent tannin profile. The flavors are dark and inward, but the Savoy structure gives an impression of pure energy. Graphite, crushed rocks and sweet red berries add the final notes of complexity.
