Score 93/100 · Drink 2025-2035, Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate, Oct 2024
Off a portion of the Grace Benoist Ranch, Etude's 2021 Pinot Noir Deer Camp Vineyard is vaguely floral but focused on dark, blue fruit, like plums and black cherries. It's full-bodied and quite richly textured, even sturdy, then softly tannic on the lingering finish. It's a Martini selection, with about 20% whole clusters.

Score 93/100 · Drink 2023-2031, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Dec 2023
The 2021 Pinot Noir Deer Camp Grace Benoist Ranch shows all the wild, exotic notes typical of the Martini clone married with the natural intensity of the year. Rich and full-bodied to the core, the 2021 possesses notable depth but pretty bright acids as well. Give this a few years in bottle. Today, the tannins are pretty imposing.
