Score 90/100 · Drink 2002-2014, Robert Parker, Jun 2002

The opaque purple-colored 1998 Cabernet Sauvignon Mt. Veeder exhibits floral, raspberry, blueberry, and mineral notes. It does not possess the blockbuster richness of a vintage such as 1997, 1995, 1994, and 1991, but it offers medium body, sweet fruit, an intense mid-palate, and nicely integrated tannin, acidity, and alcohol in the long finish. Drink it over the next 10-12 years. Tel. (707) 252-2250
