Good bright medium ruby-red. Slightly high-toned aromas of cherry pie and chocolate, with hints of rhubarb and damp earth. Fat and sweet in the mouth, showing a slightly roasted character to its black cherry and blackberry flavors. Finishes with huge, slightly drying tannins and a strong chocolatey character.
